Tornado100 Awards
Since its inception in 2001, the annual Tornado100 list has become the premier award for innovative, high-tech startups across Europe and Israel. Tornado100’s 2004 Winners will be announced during The Tornado Insider/World Financial Symposiums T100 Leadership Forum in London on January 26th, 2005. This event is a gathering of technology CEOs and CFOs who want to gain insights on how to lead their enterprise and their life to more effective and positive outcomes. UpStart Europe is Tornado Insider’s annual 2-day conference, which brings together Europe's most creative and innovative high-tech players to meet with the industry's established and emerging leaders.
The theme of UpStart 2003 was meant as a call to action. We believe that 2003 is a great time for innovation and investment. As you’ll see from the top-notch speakers we had for UpStart this year, and the announcement of our Tornado100 Top Technology companies – quality technology business abound in Europe. Now is the time to “Get in the Driver’s Seat!”
Science2Market, During these series of events, Tornado Insider
searched for Europe’s most promising early stage technology projects spinning
out of universities, research institutes, and corporations. A small team from
Tornado Insider toured Europe holding a series of ten evening events where some of the continent’s
most promising technology spin-outs and companies presented their technology
projects in front of our audience of business angels, venture capitalists,
entrepreneurs, technology transfer officials, and service providers.
Target€urope, a pan-european initiative to explore and examine successful route-to-market and international expansion strategies for technology startups took place autumn 2002 in Munich on November 4 and in London on November 27. These two highly focused conferences provided a platform for discussing international sales and marketing strategies, expansion, legal and tax issues, technology licensing, PR, HR an other important topics facing expanding technology start-ups.
