Partech Ventures has exceeded its initial fundraising target by 40 million as the it reeled in 160 million for its Partech VI and Partech Entrepreneur funds.
Partech VI is a 130 million fund. Partech Entrepreneur is the VC“s first seed fund with a 30 million commitment which is invested in innovative early-stage projects, in close collaboration with incubators and business angels.
Thanks to its physical presence in San Francisco, Paris and Berlin, Partech Ventures attracted funds from nearly 20 French, European and US institutional investors in Partech VI. Among these investors are two corporate partners: prepaid company services company Edenred, and major retailer the Casino group.
The Partech Entrepreneur seed fund has attracted more than 40 entrepreneurs and personalities from France and Silicon Valley who are joining anchor investors the National Seed Fund (FNA) managed by Bpifrance on behalf of the French State, BNP Paribas, and Econocom.
The Partech VI fund has already invested in the likes of La Fourchette, Sigfox, and Teads in France, YD in the Netherlands and Sensopia in the US.
