SHS invests in TRI Dental Implants

Tübingen/Baar, 3 September 2014 – The fourth fund of the Tübingen based growth investor SHS Gesellschaft für Beteiligungsmanage-ment (SHS) has invested in TRI Dental Implants Int. AG (TRI). TRI develops and produces implant products for the international dental market.

The fast growing dental implant manufacturer TRI was founded in 2010 in Switzerland, where it develops and manufactures its products. Its head-quarters are located in Baar. TRI offers high-quality and innovative implant solutions in more than 20 countries around the world.

'The market for dental implants is experiencing intense growth, especially in the mid-range price segment. With its intelligent and unique mix of quality, innovation and user-friendliness, TRI is very well positioned in this segment and has exceptionally good growth potential as seen in its development thus far. Therefore we are pleased to be investing in TRI and supporting the company's further growth,' explains Manfred Ulmer-Weber, senior investment manager at SHS.

'We are very happy to have gained an investment partner with as much experience in medical technology as SHS has. The industry knowledge present at SHS paired with its business oriented investment approach played a crucial role when it came to selecting SHS as a partner for further growth capital,' says Tobias Richter, Managing Director and one of the founders of TRI.
