Power Paper Appoints Dr. Yoram Karmon as President of PowerCosmetics Division

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL - November 16, 2004 - Power Paper Ltd., a leading provider of next-generation printable microelectronic devices, today announced that it has appointed Dr. Yoram Karmon as President of its PowerCosmetics™ division. Dr. Karmon brings significant senior level pharmaceutical and biotech industry experience to the company, previously having served in chief executive positions at several companies, including Peptor Ltd., a developer of immunotherapeutic drugs to treat diabetes and other autoimmune diseases (now merged with DeveloGen AG of Germany), a company he co-founded.

The company’s innovative PowerCosmetics™ skincare treatments are unique enhancers of cosmetic efficacy, delivering faster and visible cosmetic results. The treatments are enabled by Power Paper’s revolutionary technology—printable, thin and flexible, safe and non-toxic energy cells—incorporated into a simple, 20-minute skincare treatment, in the form of a microelectronic patch. Power Paper’s cosmetic skincare treatments target aging, wrinkled, hyper-pigmented, photo-damaged or otherwise damaged skin. The company’s initial offering is a line of PowerCosmetics™ Anti-Aging Skincare Treatments, which will be commercially available in 2005.

'Dr. Karmon is a great asset for Power Paper. His extended experience in the management of bio-technology and pharmaceutical companies is highly important as PowerCosmetics™ continues to expand its product line and leverage its technology for topical delivery applications,' said Shalom Daskal, Power Paper CEO. 'I am certain that his addition will take both PowerCosmetics™ and Power Paper to an even greater period of growth.'

'I am thrilled to join Power Paper’s PowerCosmetics™ division. I believe there is vast potential for what we can achieve with the PowerCosmetics™ treatment platform. I am excited to be part of one of Israel’s most promising high-tech companies,” said Dr. Karmon. “PowerCosmetics™ has had impressive results this past year and I hope to contribute to an even stronger 2005.”

Most recently, Dr. Karmon served as President and CEO of Axxima, a drug discovery and development kinase company based in Munich, Germany. Prior to co-founding and then serving as President and CEO of Peptor, Dr. Karmon was President, CEO and Chairman of the board of directors of InterPharm Laboratories Ltd. He holds a PhD in molecular biology from the Weizmann Institute.
