ESB University brings SOA and ESB into the real world

DUBLIN, Ireland, May 26, 2005 - Cape Clear Software is today launching ESB University, a new education and training initiative aimed at providing software developers, systems integrators, and IT architects with the information and tools they need to ensure the success of their Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) projects. ESB University will offer a combination of live educational events, online tutorials, seminars, resources, and training sessions to support organizations in the design, development, deployment, and management of SOA and ESB projects. The university has been designed to accommodate the diverse needs of those who are responsible for creating a SOA strategy, designing and implementing SOA, and aiding business sponsors who need the increased business agility that SOA provides.

'SOA is heralding a new era for corporate IT,' according to Joe Lichtenberg, vice president of marketing at Cape Clear Software. 'Because IT assets and business processes can now be delivered as flexible, reusable sets of services, the IT function is able to more rapidly meet the changing demands of the business. This new paradigm has created a need for training and advice on the principles of SOA, as well as practical guidance on the nuts and bolts of how to take full advantage of SOA in the real world. ESB University has been designed to meet this need.'

The first ESB University webcast, 'True ESBs: The Clear Path to SOA' is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8 at 4 p.m. British Summer Time.
