Logispring announces Supply Chain Knowledge Center
Creation of Centre for Supply Chain Strategy and Technology to be led by Brad Corrodi

May 2, 2007 -- Logispring today announced the formation of its Centre for Supply Chain Strategy and Technology, to be led by Brad Corrodi, who was part of the original Logispring founding team and until this point a member of Logispring’s Advisory Board. Mr. Corrodi has been appointed Partner and is based in Logispring’s New York office, recently opened at 307 Fifth Avenue, 14th floor, where he will be joining Managing Partner Frans van Schaik.

During his tenure at international management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, Mr. Corrodi was part of the team which helped create Logispring. Following the formation of the fund in 2001, he assisted Logispring’s management team as a representative of Booz Allen, one of the investors in Logispring’s first Fund. He remained as an Advisory Board member while a Managing Partner at Rosetta Marketing Group from 2004.

“We are thrilled to have the full weight of Brad’s efforts focused on the success of Logispring,” commented Logispring Managing Partner Frans van Schaik. “We have been working together for a long time, and he knows the firm, our strategy and the portfolio. His strategic insight and depth in understanding both technology and real-world supply chain issues is difficult to find”.

Mr. Corrodi commented on the rationale for the Centre for Supply Chain Strategy and Technology, “Over the past six years, the team has built a portfolio of some of the most innovative companies seeking to capture the value of global supply chain restructuring, while reviewing and considering more than a thousand more. Logispring’s Centre for Supply Chain Strategy and Technology is designed to draw on this unparalleled experience to scale our practice, to further assist our portfolio companies, and to drive a proactive approach to discovering new waves of opportunity.”

Logispring is a venture capital firm with a balanced portfolio strategy, investing in industrial processes, manufacturing technology, enterprise infrastructure, mail, transportation and logistics. These businesses create value by improving the responsiveness, resilience, cost effectiveness, energy-efficiency and environmental impact of the increasingly specialised and complex global supply chains that are central to competitiveness in most major industries today. Logispring’s investment scope ranges from early to late stage stage technology companies that enable better supply chain planning and management, and carve-outs of operating companies that are re-shaping supply chains directly.

Logispring was founded in 2001 and has offices in Geneva, Switzerland, and New York (NY), USA. It has a global investment mandate and has so far focused on opportunities located throughout Europe and the US.

Mr. Corrodi was most recently a Managing Partner at Rosetta Marketing, a firm which combines proprietary analytical tools with on-line execution to deliver ‘measurably superior marketing’. Prior to Rosetta he was an employee of Booz Allen Hamilton for 12 years in London and New York, where he served senior clients in both industry and government on a variety of commercial strategy, new product introduction, technology strategy, restructuring and policy issues. He received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the Dean’s Award of Excellence for Service. He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Yale University. He currently resides in Princeton, New Jersey, with his wife and two daughters.
