Eqvitec exits from Secgo Software

April 30, 2007 -- Eqvitec Technology Fund I have sold its holding in the Finnish information security and mobility management software company Secgo Software Oy to the Norwegian listed company Birdstep Technology ASA.

Secgo Software Oy is a developer of information security and mobility management software and the company has offices in Tampere and Espoo in Finland and in the US. Secgo's products provide both mobile users and the users of fixed networks with secure, flexible and cost-effective remote access to the networks of their companies and organisations. The company’s solutions are used, among others, in the public, banking and finance, manufacturing, healthcare and military sectors.

Eqvitec invested in Secgo in the company’s spin-off from Secgo Group in 2004. The funds’ holding in Secgo was 18% prior to the sale.
