Average Deal Size Shrank 37% in 2002
Amsterdam, March 7, 2003 - Tornado Insider Media today reports on capital investment deals 2002. Venture capital in Europe and Israel fell 45% in 2002, as 5.4 billion Euros were invested into high-tech companies in these regions. Average deal size also shrank 37% in 2002, as the average deal size dropped from 10.0 million Euros in 2001 to 6.3 million Euros. The figure for 2002 was 47% below the 11.9 million Euros average deal size recorded in 2000. More
